Altus Healthcare Management Services (Altus HMS) continues to bring a high quality of patient-focused, physician-directed healthcare services to communities in need. Their newest effort will be an 11,000 square foot facility in Beaumont, Texas. The center is expected to open in Fall ’07.

Taseer Badar, co-founder of Altus HMS said, “We’re very excited to bring state-of-the-art out-patient care to the Golden Triangle, serving the communities of Port Arthur, Orange, and Beaumont. Other than hospitals, there is no facility anywhere in the area that offers the level of sophisticated services our center will bring.”

While the Beaumont facility represents only the second such center in the Houston area, the ZT Group of Companies that helped finance this center has been responsible for raising capital equity to build 10 similar facilities in California.

Located within the Beaumont center will be the OPREX Ambulatory Surgery Center, Clarus Imaging Center, and Zerenity Sleep Center.

OPREX Ambulatory Surgery Center
At the Beaumont facility, we will have a full service ambulatory surgery center. We have successfully recruited 10 vested surgeons, who will deliver procedures including neuro, GI, podiatry, plastics, and hand surgeries. The Beaumont Center is investigating the addition of an ENT specialty, and is currently auditing practices of potential subscribing physicians.

Clarus Imaging Center
We will bring to the Beaumont area, state-of-the-art CT, with the only standup MRI within an 80 mile radius. This is the only true, Open MRI and allows for ultimate convenience and comfort to patients. Patients can be scanned in flexion, extension, rotation, or lateral bending to capture images in symptomatic positions.

Zerenity Sleep Center
Our sleep center is one of the top facilities of its kind in the U.S. We diagnose and treat a number of sleep disorders, including obstructive sleep apnea, narcolepsy, periodic limb movement, and hypersomnias.
