Gregory Pyron

As Vice President of Altus Healthcare Management Services, Greg is responsible for the development and management of all ground level operations in a defined market. Greg has a proven track record with over 20 years of healthcare experience managing sales teams, imaging centers, ambulatory surgery centers and hospitals.

Prior to joining Altus HMS, Greg was Group Vice President for a large healthcare management company. Responsibilities included developing and managing hospital and ambulatory surgery centers, strategic planning and identifying new business development projects. Previously, Greg served as Chief Executive Officer of Houston Physicians’ Hospital, where he led the design and implementation of the Bay Area’s first licensed Medicare surgical specialty hospital. During his tenure, the hospital received numerous awards and was recognized nationally by Consumer Reports when comparing patient satisfaction scores. 


Greg holds a Master’s Degree in Health Administration and is an active member of The American College of Healthcare Executives, Texas Ambulatory Surgery Center Society and Physician Hospitals of America. 
During the past six years, Greg has spent considerable time in D.C. helping support the physician-owned hospital industry.
