Our New Cancer Center

Altus is pleased to announce the opening of its first Cancer Center on October 18, 2010 in Baytown.

The Altus Cancer Center brings together cutting-edge technology, a team of highly experienced radiation oncologists and a compassionate and caring staff to Baytown and the surrounding East Houston community. The center provides another option for those seeking cancer care close to home. Patients no longer have to leave the comfort of their families, friends and community to receive the highest quality care in a caring and personal environment. The center's iX Varian Linear Accelerator enables patients to be treated with state-of-the-art technology while minimizing side effects.

Our patients are encouraged to maintain their daily life style while undergoing treatment. Our resource center is available to patients and their family members seeking additional information about their loved one's form of cancer.  Altus Cancer Center also realizes the importance of early detection and prevention. Our educational outreach programs are designed for businesses, civic organizations, and faith-based communities focusing on risk reduction.  Screening guidelines and general cancer information are available upon request.
