West Houston Radiology Associates is comprised of 20 American Board of Radiology (ABR) Certified radiologists with added expertise in body imaging, interventional radiology, oncology, cardiac imaging, neuroradiology, women's imaging and nuclear medicine/PET imaging.
Imaging services include: adult and pediatric general radiology, fluoroscopy, CT, MRI, ultrasound, interventional radiology, cardiac imaging, oncologic imaging, neuroradiology, women's imaging and nuclear medicine/PET imaging.
West Houston Radiology Associates routinely exceed the community standard for after-hours services by using a web-based imaging system that integrates RIS/PACS and voice recognition dictation.
The group believes they have the most progressive approach in the Houston area to providing 24-hour/day comprehensive radiology services and patient care, with all after-hours work performed by their own physicians. They ensure uninterrupted radiology service through an integrated RIS/PACS and voice recognition system. This enable immediate consultation, interpretation, and dictation of exams by that radiologist most appropriate to provide the highest diagnostic expertise, at any time, with the fastest possible report turn-around.

Elisabeth Ueberschar, MD
Baytown Only
Dr. Ueberschar is a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan and the University of Saskatchewan Medical School and did her residency at the University of Ottowa. She has vascular and interventional fellowship training from both Ottowa and MD Anderson Cancer Center. She is certified by the American Board of Radiology and was an assistant professor in Saskatchewan and at UTMSH. She then practiced 14 years at Diagnostic Clinic of Houston. She is highly skilled in MR and CT vascular reconstruction and has extended training in virtual colonography. She currently staffs the outpatient facility at Medical Clinic of Houston and serves as their radiology liaison.
Cristin Dickerson, MD
Baytown Only
Dr. Dickerson is a graduate of Baylor University and University of Texas Medical School at Houston where she was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She did a clinical internship at St. Joseph Hospital in Houston and her radiology residency at UTMSH with extensive training in oncologic imaging at MD Anderson Cancer Center. She is certified by the American Board of Radiology. She practiced 13 years in a combined in and outpatient setting at Diagnostic Clinic of Houston and as a financial partner served on their executive committee for several years and as president of the clinic. She also served their radiology department in an administrative capacity during the transition to a digital and paperless facility and has extended knowledge of radiology coding and billing. Dr. Dickerson has twice been an "H" Magazine "Top Doc". She has recently staffed outpatient facilities at Medical Clinic of Houston and Excel Diagnostics and provided teleradiology services as a partner in Radiology Group of Houston.
Josefine Timm, M.D
Houston, Beaumont and Baytown
Dr. Josefine Timm has worked as a radiologist and later as a neuroradiologist, for the past 20 years. To become board certified in neuroradiology, she was required to interpret a large volume of neuroradiology cases. This comprehensive exposure allows her to more readily detect abnormal findings, and to determine the etiology and significance of these findings.
Dr. Timm has an extensive background in spinal imaging, and is known for the detailed reporting she provides referring physicians on abnormalities and potential pain generators. Her completeness is particularly helpful when surgical intervention is required.
Dr.Timm works with many family practice, internal medicine, neurology, neurosurgery, ENT, orthopedic spine surgeons, ophthalmologists, chiropractors, and PMR physicians. She provides service to physicians in both the Houston and Beaumont areas, and is highly sought out for her neuroradiology expertise in evaluating images of head, neck, spine, or brain to obtain a more precise finding. Dr. Timm received her medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin. She completed her residency in Diagnostic Radiology and a fellowship in Neuroradiology at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.
